Celine Classic Box Bag Medium
The original box bag was created in 1970s. It was then redesigned by Phoebe Philo in 2008. She stripped it of its horse and carriage logo and the newly designed box bag was an ode to minimalism, featuring a plain and simple gold locket. The medium classic bag in box is made of calfskin, featuring an adjustable and removable leather strap and a metallic clasp closure.

Originally started as children’s shoe business, the French company expanded during the sixties into adult footwear, accessories and a women’s ready-to-wear sports collection. Phoebe Philo was appointed as the new creative director of Céline in 2008 and started presenting at the s/s2010 Paris Fashion week. Her use of camel, minimalism, white shirts and leather trims, Céline is now known for its simplicity that involves heritage, elegance and a hint of androgyny.
